Off to the Races! (Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas)



Haven't blogged in a while thanks to a nice case of the flu. A week or so ago I did make it to Oaklawn, the Thoroughbred Race Track in Hot Springs, Arkansas with my friend K. Loving horses and watching the Triple Crown Races on tv for as long as I can remember, I had actually never seen a horse race in person. Needless to say, I had a grand time although we froze our backsides off! Here are a few images from the day.





Now these guys...It's a good thing they aren't racing!

This one is of jockey Calvin Borel who won the 2007 Kentucky Derby on board Street Sense.
